Friday Finds: April Edition

I haven’t been so in love with spring like I am this year … All of the natural colors, the bright sun (in other places other than Seattle anyway), the refreshed smiles on the faces of strangers. To get outside and take in the fresh and new growth.

Inspired by spring and all its nature is my latest edition of my Friday Finds series. You’ll find things for that close mother or for your next picnic in the park.

1 — A perfect addition to your outdoor spring gatherings or picnics … A neutral throw blanket (and from Zara!), that adds the perfect amount of cozy in the cool breeze.

2 — Anne Løvenskjold is an exceptional artist with such a beautiful and specific style. From her home in Scandinavia, she draws all kinds of florals she sees from the nature that surrounds her. This honeysuckle print is a favorite of mine, as well as her rabbit with floral pattern. It’s delicate and neutral which would look beautiful in your dining room or baby’s nursery.

3 — I’m excited to have discovered the pottery work of Colleen Hennessey. Her color palette is neutral and minimal and forms natural/organic patterns and shapes in the clay of her pieces. A perfect edition to any spring lunch gathering outdoors or for fresh fruit on your kitchen counter.

4 — I will forever be inspired by the work of florists and floral designers. “In Bloom” helps find new creative ways to connect with the beauty of flowers in everyday life.

5 — Amour Vert’s mission is all about sustainability. “Amour Vert” means “Green Love” in French. They work every day to create a better and healthier planet all while looking beautiful. This floral dress is a spring staple.

6 — Because going on a picnic with a great looking picnic basket is the perfect opportunity to transport you elsewhere in the world … May I suggest the English countryside? This gorgeous basket with leather handles from JUNE will get you there.
