Cured by Salt is about beautiful food being the catalyst for beautiful experiences. Hosted and created by Annika Williams in Seattle, Washington, the community dinners are fueled by her personal health journey and her love of gathering people to eat, drink, and simply do life together.
Cured by Salt is first and foremost a dinner to gather people together imperfectly — inspired by “Wabi Sabi Welcome.”
I wanted to ensure the logotype was approachable and just ever-so-slightly imperfect. The sliced tops of both the "u" and "t" represent cutting fresh vegetables and food for a communal meal and the coarse edges of sea salt itself.
